Public Empire is a communications media project for the Inland Empire region of Southern California.
We’re a curious media that observes the region to connect people to information for civic engagement.
Part aggregator, part curator, part storyteller, part explainer. We believe applying niche journalism, content creation, and visual storytelling will inspire and inform our growing region, helping those to come (#migration) and each other to stay informed about people in the Inland Empire.
The social sector comes first.
We appreciate story ideas from people, non-profits, cultural institutions, government, community organizations, universities, colleges, policymakers and politicians seeking support to raise awareness to issues that influence our quality of life or foster understanding.
We’ll also be analyzing trends and coverage that shape public misperceptions (and some truths) about the Inland Empire. We curate local news coverage to create an eagle-eye view of topics in the region.

Help us make insightful content that shapes empathy, logic, and connection in the Inland Empire.
